Kathmandu, NMB Bank Limited has secured a debt fund of USD 20 million from FMO, the Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank. This funding is aimed to support the growth of NMB’s micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and green financing portfolio. Out of this USD 20 Million fund, USD 15 million has been designated to bolster green initiatives, emphasizing the Bank’s commitment to environmentally sustainable projects. The remaining USD 5 Million will be deployed to further the growth and expansion of MSMEs in the country.This marks FMO’s first-ever debt partnership in Nepal, highlighting its global reach and commitment to sustainable banking practices.
