HerCraft Mela 2026 was held today at Hotel Dwarika’s, Battisputali, showcasing a distinguished collection of handcrafted home décor and everyday essentials made from Nepalese organic textiles.
Organized with the continued support of ActionAid International Nepal (AAIN), the event reflected the growth of HerCraft Nepal as a women-led social enterprise that brings traditional Nepali craftsmanship into contemporary markets. The initiative has created sustainable income opportunities for women artisans, contributing to long-term economic resilience and community well-being.

The exhibition featured creations that highlighted the skill and dedication of women artisans. All proceeds from the mela will be reinvested to strengthen women’s economic independence and support community development.
Supported by Hotel Dwarika’s, the event underscored the role of women-led enterprises in preserving cultural heritage while advancing inclusive economic growth.
